The new Aperitivo-to-go in Milan

If you happen to be in Milan any time soon don’t forget to take a stroll between Viale Monte Nero and Viale Lazio. You might be lucky enough to bump into an Ape Bistrot, one of the new and most original ways to enjoy the italian Aperitivo in Milan. The iconic Ape Piaggio vehicle has undergone a makeover to become a fully equipped “ambulant” bar where, between 7 and 9 pm, you can enjoy the “cult” pre-dinner drink or white wine. Or even champagne. You will be served by an informal yet smartly dressed staff, all in black apron and bow tie. And their impressive menu includes oysters.

If you struggle to find it you can go to www.apebistrot.it for real time information on the location of the Ape Bistro. Do it as the italians.
