We’re all about booties (seriously, who isn’t?), but when we learned that Loeffler Randall’s new fall collection of fabulous booties was inspired by Rosie the Riveter—the cultural icon who represented American women who worked during World War II—well, it took our love of the collection to a whole new level.
Rosie, like Loeffler Randall, has elements of soft femininity countered by a tougher, more masculine side, said designer Jessie Randall (a booty aficionado herself), for her tips on finding the perfect booties for fall and how to wear them.
Here is Jessie’s guide to wearing our favorite fall shoe style:

“I’m wearing them with shorts right now but you can wear them with anything,” she said. “They are good with jeans. You could wear them with a dress.”
“I have a lot of vintage denim on my board,” said Jessie. “The design process is very organic to me. I was really feeling deep indigo blues.” She also loves the Emerson, a stacked heel slip-on bootie with leather covered studs and the Dagmar, a lace-up platform version.

“These shoes are for the girl with her own sense of style,” said Jessie. “She doesn’t want people to tell her what to wear. She’s a creative person who appreciates quality. She wants her shoes to last for a really long time.”
