One of the highlights of Copenhagen Fashion Week (7th – 11 August) was Anne Sofie Madsen. Her S/S 2013 collection combined couture to commercial in a range of jaw dropping outfits. From made-to-order to ready-to-wear, each of the garments is a masterpiece on its own!
Anne Sofie Madsen has previously worked at Parisian trend forecaster Peclers and at the House of John Galliano. Before graduating, the designer was appointed Junior Designer at the House of Alexander McQueen in London. Anne Sofie Madsen is not a new to Fashion Week: she had shown the AW 12/13 collection in London, Milan, Kiev and Saint Petersburg. With this S/S14 collection her innovative and graphic esthetics turned into unique sartorial masterpieces made of both airy materials and avant-garde applications. Copenhagen’s position as one of the most inspiring fashion metropolis of the North is confirmed!
