Shoe Street Art in Madrid

Shoe Street Art, inspired by the famous exhibition Cow Parade, was born in Elda in 2011 with the desire to emphasize the importance and value of Spanish footwear. The collection includes 26 sculptures – measuring 2.10 meters wide by 2.40 meters high – that have been decorated by artists using different techniques such as urban graffiti, painting or collage. Wonderful, suggestive shoes which reminded a mix of Matisse’s shoe in the Pompidou of Paris and the feminine atmosphere of that region. (Photo: Shoe Street Art)
