Climate Dress by Diffus

pollution-dress-2The Danish design company DIFFUS created the Climate Dress with hundreds of tiny LEDs that respond to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The dress is powered by an Arduino Lilypad microprocessor and a carbon dioxide detector.

A microprocessor and CO2 sensor allow the LEDs to visually convey the level of carbon dioxide in space-slow pulsations when the levels are low, short and hectic when they’re high.Diffus-Solar-Handbag

Diffus’ latest creation, the solar handbag, brings similar sensibilities of eco-tech luxe to a sustainable, and marketable, product. Diffus has integrated 100 miniaturized monocrystalline silicon ‘sequins’ onto the bag’s exterior, enough to power phones or laptops.
