Lisbon Fashion Week: Valentim Quaresma

valentim_quaresma_ss14_16Valentim Quaresma presented his Spring/Summer 2014 collection during ModaLisboa and Amsterdam Fahsion Tv was there.

Valentim Quaresma worked with the fashion designer Ana Salazar over the past 20 years making her jewellery and accessories. Since 2005 he started his own line.

In this new collection he searched for medieval references. “Most of my collections are inspired by the Middle Ages. It’s a universe that really fascinates me: in fact, it’s a time when they worked metal in a solid way, there was a lot of armour, and many techniques still come from that.” the designer said.

For 2014, jewelry and accessories designer Quaresma, geometric patterns are devised using ultra-polished silver metal pieces that have a futuristic tribal essence.
