After touring the world as a renowned DJ throughout the 1980’s, Sasko Bezovski generated the umbrella of retail stores ‘Kokontozai’ in London and Paris, combining the passion for music and fashion that has birthed a renowned cult hybrid. 1996 saw the opening of the Greek Street store, located in the vibrant flowing district of Soho, London. This was to become a renowned creative space of reverence for music artists in London and across the globe. The space began as a record store, later combined into a collaboration of the fashion label KTZ with Marjan Pejoski.
Following the success of Marjan Pejoski’s own self-titled label, KTZ arose through himself and renowned DJ, Sasko Bezovski. The Creative Director Pejoski had studied fashion design at London’s Central St Martins University, and Bezovski had spent much of the 80’s travelling the world with his music, and establishing his umbrella of retail stores ‘Kokon to Zai’ in London and Paris.
Pejoski and the Head of Design Bezovski are still very much at the heart of the company, with Bezovski maneuvering operational, commercial and financial areas throughout what has now become a thoroughly global enterprise. As creative director, Pejoski appointed fellow Central Saint Martins graduate Koji Maruyama head of design shortly after the labels inception.
