Fashion fans of British designer J.W. Anderson, rejoice! This Christmas, Anderson’s teamed up Nick Knight’s SHOWStudio to provide the patterns for two signature pieces from his fall-winter 2013 collection—for free download. Yes, that’s right—if you can sew, you too can have a whole J.W. Anderson outfit in your wardrobe rotation at a fraction of his usual luxury-end MSRP.
“The pieces encapsulate his experimental attitude towards silhouette and texture,” it says on the SHOWStudio download site. “The asymmetric pieces, which featured in Anderson’s first advertising campaign, encapsulate his experimental attitude towards shape and texture. The garments give the wearer the ability to toy with their silhouette.”
Anderson is the latest in a series of designers and labels SHOW Studio has collaborated with to bring its readers free designer patterns. In the past, we’ve seen exclusive designs from Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen, Giles Deacon, and Maison Martin Margiela.
