New artistic director at Cerruti

Aldo Maria Camillo has been named new artistic director at Cerruti, succeeding Sachiko Okada and Aaron Sharif who designed the line for three seasons. Camillo will start working in this new position in June, with his first collection that will be therefore that the fall-winter 2013/2014. Aldo Maria Camillo is the director of the department since 2009 ‘Mens Fashion’ Valentino. Previously, he served as senior designer within the department ‘and Formal to Measure’ of Ermenegildo Zegna. “For me, Nino Cerruti is one of the most important couturiers in the history of menswear,” Camillo told WWD. “His vision, his values and the quality of his designs fundamentally marked men’s fashion.”
