N°21 is the Pitti Discovery Special Project. Over the past several seasons, the Fondazione Pitti Discovery has been committed to creating opportunities for fashion talents and for those who work with fashion’s materials combining them with other artistic and aesthetic experiences.

“We are very enthusiastic about Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s decision to have his men’s collection N°21 make its debut at Pitti Uomo”, says Lapo Cianchi, Pitti Immagine director of communications and events. “With his unmistakable style Alessandro has gained a leading role among the stars of Italian fashions on the international stage. And with N°21, he shows a very real and modern approach to prêt-à-porter that combines the creativity of his vision with profound knowledge of knitwear and products. We are very interested in these developments and the way in which the strong aesthetic and culture option – the starting point – enters into dialogue with the market, and we are curious to see how all this will evolve in the men’s collection”.

“The N°21 men’s collection”, says Alessandro Dell’Acqua, “is the completion of a style that was born for women but actually has always dipped into the male wardrobe. It is the evolution of the N°21 world with well defined styling codes. I really wanted the first N°21 men’s collection to be presented at the forthcoming edition of Pitti Uomo because I believe it to be the ideal event that can fully reflect the philosophy of my collection”.
