Hôtel de Crillon in Paris’ Suites by Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld announced plans to design two suites at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. The current restoration, which will be completed in 2015, will add a contemporary polish to the hotel while remaining respectful of its traditions and faithful to its character. The renovation of the 18th-century Crillon is being overseen by the architect Richard Martinet with interiors by Chahan Minassian, Cyril Vergniol and Tristan Auer under the artistic direction of Aline d’Amman.

“No one understands Paris or the heritage of the Crillon better than Mr Lagerfeld,” Radha Arora, president of the Crillon’s parent company Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, told WWD.com.
