And from the Ashes Rises Le Phenix

indexOne late night, a disciple was sitting by the fire with her teacher. The teacher asked his disciple, “What are you starring at so intently?” She replied, “The ashes.” The teacher asked, “What about them?” With a puzzled look on her face she replied, “They were once strong pieces of wood but now they are as fragile as dust.” The teacher turned to her and explained, “We are formed from the ashes of man. Our lives are as fragile as dust. As soon as the wind blows, we exist no more. Leaving behind blank footsteps of yesterday.” The disciple face seemed troubled and she turned and asked, “Who will remember me, when I am no more?” The teacher looked to the sky and said, “We are like seeds; a seed does not produce new life until it dies. From death sprouts new life.”
