BORDELLO: A RE-READING OF THE ANTIQUE PARISIAN BROTHELS ON THE VIEW OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER VEE SPEERS

London till April 12th. at “The Little Black Gallery” in London 13A Park Walk, you can admire the photo exhibition by  Vee Speers.

Inspired by the work of hungarian artist Gyula Halázs settled in France, known by the pseudonym Brassaï. Between the 20’s and 30’s Brassarï was photographing the dark side of the French capital, where was born the classic “Paris la Nuit” published in 1933.

Vee Speers brings a re-reading of brothels and prostitutes documented by Bassari. Speers sought luxurious brothels that have withstood the time and which still exhibit the richness and art décor that time.

Mrs. Speers also is connected with FASHION, besides being the darling of Kaiser “Karl Lagerfeld” that is a fan of her work, the photographer has announced a partnership with Maison Martin Margiela for the next winter season that will bring glamorously hot images.
