While we were all collectively working/sleeping/doing run-of-the-mill life stuff yesterday, the glamour at Cannes just kept flowing. Add in Roberto Cavalli’s annual yacht-party extravaganza and, well, there were some super contenders for today’s best-dressed list.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked flawless in this strapless gray Gucci Première. She can do bombshell as well as anybody, but I love it when she just nails it in a super-feminine, super-glam look like this one.
Ditto for Brazilian model Izabel Goulart, who started off this white parade in a sleek number with an angular halter neck.
And Sharon Stone? She was amazing in this sparkly black Emilio Pucci mini that rose up on the sides and had a laced-up neckline (she’s in her fifties, guys! Those legs!).
There was another fantastic white dress courtesy of Marion Cotillard, who looked so polished in this tea-length white Christian Dior dress. Compared with yesterday’s envelope-pusher, this felt totally different.
I was so happily surprised by Lilly Allen, who might’ve been my number one favorite in this sophisticated white ensemble. It looks like a skirt-and-tank combo and is sweetly embellished with lace-up top and curving seams on bottom. While definitely formal, there’s still a laid-back vibe to it (which I love).
The case for a minimalist shape done in a bright color was made perfectly by Lara Stone, who made this simple Calvin Klein Collection dress look fantastic.
I’ll be honest: I might’ve just known model Toni Garrn’s name before in connection with Leonardo DiCaprio, but after seeing this chic outfit, I’m majorly impressed with her (no Leo required).
To be fair, I wasn’t blown away by Heidi Klum’s slinky white dress on its own. But styled with a men’s suit jacket thrown over her shoulders? It was so good. If you’re ever headed to a friend’s wedding when the weather could turn nippy, copy this.
