At “Fortezza da Basso” in Florence the 86th. edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the world’s leading event for fashion and lifestyle for men registered a great success.
This edition of Pitti Uomo, which coincides with the Special Program Florence Hometown of Fashion, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the birth of Florence Centre for Italian Fashion, draws to a close with numbers growing and very positive feedback on the quality of attendance and proposal of men’s fashion for the next season. The final predictions on turnout recorded a 5% increase in the total number of buyers that are expected to exceed 19,000. This is the best result of the latest editions summer, due to the constant progress of foreign buyers (+2% in the numbers of shops in this edition, coming from an increasing number of countries from 5 continents), but also – finally – in a comforting resumption of the Italian market, which recorded an + 8% of admissions.
