Kate Middleton Inspires Us With the Perfect Pink Summer Dress

And it happened again. Early this morning in London, Kate Middleton made one of her much-anticipated appearances (with a bunch of cute kids!) and sold out a dress before we even hit the snooze button. Who’s the most stylish royal now, huh?

While visiting the Blessed Sacrament School to support the Action on Addiction and Place2Be charities for children, the Duchess of Cambridge wore an off-the-rack dress by British label Goat—and showed us an inspired way to wear pink for the summer. And you know how much we love pink. But instead of going for, say, bubble-gum, Kate opted for a cheerful, summer-ready shade that’s a little bit coral with a touch of fuchsia thrown in. She played up the bold hue with neutral accessories: patent nude pumps (but of course) and a rattan minaudière.

The now sold-out belted dress was on sale for $410 (from $683) on Matchesfashion.com, but you snooze, you lose, as they say. However, Kate will probably wear the frock again, so we’ll get another peek at it.
