Runs until August 16 in São Paulo, exhibition by Otávio and Gustavo Pandolfo, the most hipster and bold twin brothers in the world of “Street Art”.
Known in many countries around the world as “OsGemeos” (The Twins), the duo of artists started their careers in the 80’s with the arrival of Hip Hop culture to Brazil, where they found in the art a way to communicate with the public.
The trajectory of the brothers brings together a multitude of techniques and media that coexist simultaneously or alternately. By drawing and graffiti to murals, by painting to kinetic sculptures and installations images.
The striking style by the duo are their natural yellow dolls that inhabit a dream world, against the city that serve as their mainstay, always focusing on poetic, ironic or critical issues.
They have participated of important exhibitions in museums and galleries in several countries as Cuba, Chile, USA, Italy, Spain, England, Lithuania and Japan.
In their third solo exhibition in São Paulo titled “A Ópera da Lua” (The Moon Opera), the artists present new works, gathered in around 30 paintings, three sculptures, a musical installation and a 3D video installation.
This duo of twin brothers is really a great success and Brazil has one more reason to be proud!
