Which Stylist’s Most Bizarre Experience Involves a Car Battery and the Fugees?

Stylist June Ambrose has worked with every ’90s and early 2000s icon under the sun including, Missy Elliot, R. Kelly, Diddy, and Jay Z (whom she still works with today). In an interview with insidery food site The New Potato, she spills about her experiences with these celebrities while modeling at her favorite New York City restaurant, The Musket Room.

My favorite little nugget? When asked about her most bizarre styling experience she revealed, “when I made a light-up suit powered by a car battery for the Fugees.” I’m sorry, what? The designer and stylist also had this bit of advice for every women who’s getting dressed in the morning: “See the person you want to become; aspire to be your alter ego.” I love that, don’t you?
