Vote On This Year’s Best Celebrity Style (Princesses Included!)

Every day brings us a step closer to the end of the year (eek!) and another set of fashion moments to rethink, re-live, and vote on. We started off the week by looking back at the year’s best and biggest fashion trends and talked red carpet moments yesterday. Now, it’s all about celebrity style and guys, it’s officially okay to play favorites.

Readers know that ’round these parts, we might worship at the altar of Kate Middleton, but we’re still totally open to big-time style crushes on other royals. Included in those ranks is Queen Letizia, who made the transitional step upward from Princess this year, and Queen Maxima (a pro at rocking an entire week with serious style). Other worthy opponents: Princess Ameerah of Saudi Arabia and Denmark’s resident fashion plate, Princess Mary.

It felt like the year of the celeb baby at times, which translated into a lot of amazing maternity style. Rachel Bilson wasn’t spotted a ton, but when she was, it was boho-perfection. Olivia Wilde, Kate Middleton, Ciara, and Kerry Washington all had red carpet obligations that ensured we got more than a few glimpses at their super-glam baby bumps. Thankfully for us, Blake Lively’s stepped out a few times as well, impressing the world with her sexy picks every single time. I mean, just this morning I was typing up a story about a steamy backless dress she wore last night.

Best Overall Celebrity Style

I felt a sense of surprise when jotting down Kim Kardashian’s name for consideration this year, but we can’t deny it: She had a very stylish year (that may or may not have been due in part to hubby Kanye West’s influence). Lupita Nyong’o might’ve been nominated for our rookie award, but her year was so epic, she also qualified for an overall nod. Taylor Swift’s found her stride (and a signature style) this year, while Olivia Palermo and Victoria Beckham kept on being perfect.
