This ’90s Supermodel Has a Ridiculously Awesome Closet

Maybe it’s what living in an apartment for the last 10 odd years has done to me, but I absolutely salivate when I see a spacious, well-designed walk-in closet. The latest to grab my attention and make me stop everything I was doing belongs to supermodel Stephanie Seymour and is being shared on The Estée Edit. In an accompanying interview with Fashionista, she said she keeps her children out with a bolted door and believes in the power of drawers. “You want to keep everything in either boxes or in acid-free tissue. It’s all climate controlled, of course, and all of the drawers are glass and there’s space on each side for a picture so I can see what’s inside.” Oh, to be a supermodel.

Crazy amazing things of note in this shot? The wallpaper, the personal mementos laid out, and the row of what looks like eight Hermès bags standing proudly front to back (she said she’s been collecting them for over 20 years).

Things that have just been added to my future dream closet wish list: a tufted pink chair, a dress form to display something fantastic, and a skinny cupboard section just for my dress coats.

I’m really convinced getting dressed would be an entirely different situation if I could easily see all my shoes and such. This shelving is about 100 times better than the crowded rack I’ve got half-hidden under hanging clothes.
