Lagerfeld to design shoes for Brazil’s Melissa

Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld will create a small, limited collection of four women’s styles for eco-friendly Brazilian footwear label Melissa, known for its colorful plastic shoes.

“We are very excited about the partnership with Melissa who have been great in translating Karl’s inspirations and designs into truly ironic fun fashion products that many women in the world will happily wear,” said the CEO of Lagerfeld, Pier Paolo Righi, to telegraph.

The first capsule collection being unveiled next March.
