The Chanel spring 2015 couture show just happened in Paris, and it was gorgeous, if full of things I expected to see. These shows are rarely just simple, straight runways, and Karl didn’t disappoint, treating guests to a forest (oversize garden?) made up of white cutouts that came complete with its own cute little gardener boy to keep everything hydrated.
Kendall Jenner made another turn down the runway (you can check out the colored fauna cutouts behind her). This is becoming a total thing for KJ: She walked in the house’s Salzburg show in December and just announced she was fronting the Karl Lagerfeld spring ad campaign.
What I wouldn’t give for a second up-close-and-personal with the huge blooms used in the collection—how dreamy is this skirt? I’m also loving the romantic fairy-tale touch of the light-as-air cape worn over the shoulders.
The bride! The couture show is traditionally closed with one (remember the pregnant bride? Her entire outfit took 933 hours to make!), and I’m loving this two-piece combo.
