If you’re looking for new ways to incorporate color into your everyday, look no further than J.Crew’s Fashion Week presentation. Inspired by Peter Schlesigner’s book, Checkered Past, Tom Mora, head of women’s design at the brand, showed a collection full of super vivid hues. “[Schlesigner] was an artist who moved to London in the late ’60s and through the ’60s and ’70s photographed all of his friends like David Hockney, Paloma Picasso, Tina Chow, and Cecil Beaton,” Mora told me this morning. “All of these amazing people who were in fashion and art who had incredible style, so from that I pulled the color, the texture, and the silhouettes for the collection.” Here, five of my favorite color combinations…
