I know it’s hard to tear our eyes away from the gorgeousness that is everything Oscars red carpet-related, but guys: there’s other important fashion stuff to talk about!
For starters, Reformation has introduced a line specifically for ladies 5’4 and under. I’ve seen plenty of special capsules created for rangy girls and curvy ladies, but short gals? Not as much. The 9-piece “Don’t Call Me Cute” collection includes dresses, jumpsuits, and a matched set and starts at $138. That perfect-for-spring polka dot number above is one of them. Browse it here.
Club Monaco is opening a cool store. In a restaurant. Whoa, right? The label’s concept shop will be open starting today until March 14 inside of Noma, a luxe spot in Copenhagen that was just ranked as the #1 restaurant in the world. It’s the brand’s first foray into Denmark.
Stuart Weitzman would like you to have your very own Oscar fashion moment. The designer’s dazzling red carpet success with the Nudist sandal meant unleashing a special batch of shoes just in time for last night’s Oscars—they’re similar to styles you’ve seen before (and “stylish yet comfortable for walking the red carpet” per Stuart) but with special finishes and shades made just for the red carpet. You can pre-order your own pair now and even though they’d look fab with a formal gown, I’d also love to see them with ankle-crop skinny jeans and a tee.
Bud Light has a Kim Kardashian connection that’s going to make you SO ready for spring! Okay, so Kim’s cover for Selfish, her book o’ selfies being released this May, is eye-popping, not least because of her ultra-flattering, ultra-simple bikini. It’s by LA-based Kaohs, and Bud Light has partnered with the brand on an exclusive collection available to shop today.
The same suit Kim’s wearing, the Gypsy, has been done in in a bright yellow in a run of 100 to celebrate the brand’s new Lemon-Ade-Rita flavor. “It’s meant to be sipped over ice by a pool or beach in warm weather and is perfectly complimented by the essential summer item: swimwear!” Mallika Monteiro, Director of Marketing for Bud Light Extensions, told me via email. Regarding Kim’s Kaohs fandom, it’s a known thing (though the cover score was a surprise). “We didn’t realize she was a fan until she requested almost the entire first collection. Then we saw she chose the Gypsy suit to shoot for Kanye in Thailand,” said Tess Hamilton, Kaohs co-founder. “We had no idea it was being used on the cover. We found out via Instagram!” Shop it here.
