“Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” opened in London. Held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the designer retrospective is larger than the massively popular one seen at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and has a greater emphasis on McQueen’s native London according to WWD. Devoted fashion fans like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Victoria Beckham celebrated the opening, with Kate slipping out of her black lace gown and into a skull-print wisp of a thing to take to the stage with a dance troupe. The show will run for six months and has already been extended by two weeks.

The website MelissaMcCarthy.com will be open for business in August, and apparel will hit department and specialty stores in the U.S., U.K., and Canada at the same time, WWD reported. Prices will range from $59 to $159, and the site will also include style pointers from Melissa who considered attending the Fashion Institute of Technology with designer dreams in her eyes before charming us all with lines like “You feel that steam heat? That’s from my undercarriage.”

Fashion and fitness collaborations, x 2! As shoppers become more and more interested in the fitness sphere and scooping up togs that will impress pals outside the gym, it’s no surprise that fitness brands are cozying up with fashion names. NikeLab x Sacai has revealed an eight-piece capsule collection, modeled by Binx Walton and available to shop March 19, that brings bright colors and a stylish touch to workout-friendly materials like fleece (there are also some particularly rad Air Max sneakers). Additionally, British brand Sweaty Betty has released its latest collection with designer Richard Nicoll. The 10-piece range incorporates technical fabrics with fun things like polka dots. Reed Krakoff is shutting down operations. It’s temporary though, with the brand telling WWD that “the company is reviewing all strategic options for the brand, which may include production and distribution partnerships or a sale of the business and the brand.” While the label refocuses and thinks it through, its website, Manhattan store, and location at the Woodbury Commons outlet will remain open.
