The One Store in the U.S. Where You Can Buy the Apple Watch Early

We’ve got tough news for Apple fans that may have expected to walk into an Apple Store tomorrow and purchase an Apple Watch: In reality, Apple will begin selling the watch online, as well as fulfilling preorders, on the company’s site tomorrow, but it won’t be offering it in-store. If you want to get your hands on one in the U.S. tomorrow, you should consider heading to Los Angeles.

That’s right: Angelenos will be the first in the country to get their hands on an Apple Watch tomorrow, as The New York Times reports that chic Los Angeles boutique Maxfield is the only U.S. retailer that will actually have the watch for sale tomorrow.

As part of the Apple Watch rollout, the tech giant decided to allow certain posh fashion boutiques to sell the watch, such as Dover Street Market in Tokyo and London, Colette in Paris, The Corner in Berlin and 10 Corso Como in Milan. As it happens, these boutiques will now be the only places to actually stock the watch on day one, according to The Times. Supplies at these boutiques, however, will likely be extremely limited. According to The Times, Dover Street Market will have fewer than 1,000 watches across both doors, and apparently the $10,000 gold version that Beyonce and Karl Lagerfeld have been spotted wearing is already on backorder (sorry if that was on your wish list!).
