The fashion world’s buzziest duo, Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, are officially taking the design reins at DKNY. The founders and designers of Public School will apparently split time between the brands, according to a report in WWD.
Founded in 2008, Public School only recently launched women’s wear after having achieved runaway success in the menswear category. The label is known for its street-meets-conceptual clothes, making the designers a great fit for DKNY. Osborne and Chow have been fashion darlings since the line’s inception, winning awards from the CFDA and Fashion Group International in 2013.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, we’ll get our first look at DKNY under their tutelage during September Fashion Week in New York City, where they’ll present the Spring 2016 collection.
