When we talk about fashion is impossible not to remember the successful story of the desired ” Christian Dior”, who served and continues serving as inspiration for many names of the universe of needles and thread. The name Christian Dior is part of the history of fashion world and nothing fairer than having an exhibition to tell it.
On June 6 to November 1 the Mussé Christian Dior in Gransville in France, will inaugurate the “The New Look Revolution” exhibition, which shows the importance of “tailleur bar”, which became an important part of the first collection of Dior and the silhouette that changed the way of thinking about fashion at the time.
The exhibition has three parts, hand-picked with trusteeship of the fashion historian Florence Muller. The first is “The Bar Suit,” The Revolution, which shows the creation who did all begin. “Savoir-faire” is the second, which explores how Dior created the silhouette and in what context, and the third and last “Spirit of the Style”, where we will find the influence of the “look” until the present day.
No doubt this exhibition will shake the land of “Crêpe Suzette,” and for fashion lovers it is more than homework.
