Ever since Empire became a megahit, it’s been absolutely no surprise when Taraji P. Henson walks the red carpet looking phenomenal in a black Alexander Wang—a new look from the designer who showed evening wear for the first time on his fall 2015 runway.

Here’s hoping that Constance Wu walks a lot more red carpets in the near future (for her star turn on hit series Fresh Off the Boat). She nailed a romantic, feminine look in a one-shoulder floral gown by New York City-based designer Cristina Ottaviano.

Maggie Gyllenhaal’s strapless beauty from Alexander McQueen would have looked perfect on her regardless of color, but by opting for a soft rose-petal print instead of a solid, she stood out even more.
