TRANSGENDER OF 1930s PLAYED BY EDDIE REDMAYNE HITS CINEMAS ON MOVIE “THE DANISH GIRL”

After taking home the Oscar for his performance in the film The Theory of Everything, the actor Eddie Redmayne prepares for a role of great impact, which will surprise his fans around the world, in a delicate and extremely touching story.

The actor will play Lili Elbe, a transgender woman and one of the first identifiable recipients of sex reassignment surgery.

The feature-film The Danish Girl tells the story of the couple Einar and Gerda Wegener, two artists who were married very young in the early 20th century. Gerda, played by Alicia Vikander, asks her husband to pose in some photos dressed as a woman, and he falls in love for the female universe. After this experience, Einar goes to dress only with female looks and takes the personality of Lili.

The film hits US cinemas in November and promises to be box-office success.
