If there is ever a runway season that brings with it Oscar-worthy gowns, it’s couture. And, as it just so happens, the spring couture collections debut right in the middle of awards season—truly jaw-dropping gowns ripe for the picking for the most glamorous of the Hollywood set. How’s that for convenience?
Across the board, the nominees are hard hitters in the fashion world, from Cate Blanchett’s classic Hollywood glamour to Saoirse Ronan’s youthful style; Jennifer Lawrence’s penchant for red carpet princess moments and Rooney Mara’s love of edgy black gowns. One thing’s for sure: We can’t wait to see what these stylish nominees choose this year—and, as we anticipate the glamour of the Oscars, we have our fingers crossed that we see at least a few of the incredible couture gowns of the season!

Evening glamour hit it big in Givenchy’s sequin-studded couture collection this season. Our favorite Oscar night choice? A long-sleeve gown in deep purple metallic, with a subtle skin-revealing cutout in front.
For the girl looking for her princess moment, Elie Saab’s collection is hard to beat. We’re particularly in love with this high-neck, sleeveless beaded gown, nipped in at the waist by a metallic belt.
