All of our favorite style stars are braving near-arctic temperatures, hitting the streets of New York City this week to kick off fashion month. We’ve seen furry coats, shearling boots, and the coziest of knits as all of those in attendance layered up to step out into the cold. And, as we woke up to a temperature of zero-degrees yesterday morning we truly do mean cold.
But one woman who has particularly caught our attention, is Solange Knowles. Knowles is a true fashion-lover, taking risks with new silhouettes (who can forget her wedding day jumpsuit?), bright tones, and never one to shy away from an eye-catching trend (check out this Moschino dress she rocked at Mardi Gras!). This fashion week, she hasn’t let the cold get her down, wearing bright colors straight through the frigid winter months. Take a look at her fashion week looks so far and lift your spirits by adding a little color to your wardrobe this winter.
With her Ryan Roche winter whites, Knowles adds a bright Phillip Lim coat and metallic Gucci mules.
She opts for a monochromatic look from Rodebjer in a deep burgundy hue: The perfect winter tone to add just the right amount of color without being too bold.
With her high-waisted brown leather Tibi trousers, Knowles tucks in a bright blue ribbed knit from Baja East. She pairs the colorful look with a hunter green Mansur Gavriel bag and Maryam Nassir Zadeh heeled Mary Janes.
Knowles rocks another monochromatic look—this time with daytime sequins from Tibi! The contrasting textures are a great way to make head-to-toe color work
