Juliette Heijnen at the MBFWA

On the 15th of July, Juliette Heijnen, a young talented designer, had the great opportunity to present her new collection at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Amsterdam. Born in the south of the Netherlands, Juliette graduated from the “Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam”, a media, art and education’s university, in 2014. The Designer has always had a fascination for the human body and its interactions. You can see that passion in her collections which are quite sporty.

Most of her outfits, with her previous collections and this one, are unisex. Any man or woman would be able to pull that outfit and look really stylish. Her new show was a great example. She uses very comfortable fabrics which could seem lazy but then she is able to add that special detail that makes the outfit really cool. She also loves to mix clashing colours and crazy motifs together which took her entire collection from basic tracksuits to a fashionable everyday sporty outfit.

The show was just a pleasure to look at. Every detail was thought of. If the front of the outfit looked simple, there was a surprising detail in the back. The show was a great success and Juliette is definitively on the right path to the international fashion world.
