Christie’s to Host an Auction of Kate Moss Photographs


Calling all supermodels: The bar has been raised.
Christie’s, the venerable English auction house, is paying homage to Kate Moss with an exclusive sale of photographs of the onetime waif turned style icon. Some of the most famous shots ever taken of Kate will soon be up on the auction block in September, from photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Craig McDean, Irving Penn, Mario Sorrenti, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, Ellen von Unwerth, and Albert Watson.

The auction will be held at 5 P.M. on Sept. 25 in London and will include a sculpture of Kate Moss as a naked angel in 18-karat gold by Nick Knight!
