It’s been 17 years since Kate Moss has agreed to appear on a men’s magazine cover, so it will come as no surprise that when she was finally persuaded to break her ban for the latest issue of Esquire U.K., it wasn’t going to be your typical swimsuit shot.
Photographer Craig McDean shot Kate in this racy (dare I say) sexy jeweled bodysuit with her head tilted back, showing off her best supermodel pose.
Kate always looks hot, but can we take a moment to discuss this look and her jeweled hoo-ha? Is there anyone who would wear this in real life and endure what is probably a very uncomfortable situation once you sit down?
“For too long [Kate Moss] has been monopolised by women’s fashion magazines,” says Esquire editor Alex Bilmes said. “So I am thrilled that we’ve persuaded her to front our special issue dedicated to this country’s most stylish people and products. I really can’t imagine anyone better suited to the job.”
Kate’s last men’s mag cover was published in 1996 for the now shuttered Arena magazine.
The new issue hits newsstands in the U.K. on Wednesday, but don’t worry, all those great Kate images will appear online in no time.
